January Meeting - Shop tour of Joe Gerad's shop as and some of various unique machines he has.
The shop tour was fun and educational, and we go to see some serious horsepower machines and some of the types of things Joe has made over the years.
November Meeting - Sprutcam Demonstration and Q&A at Wade Wendorf's shop
Eric Anderson came to our meeting in November and put on a great demonstration of SprutCam, as well as answered some questions about the machines that some members had. We had a great time, and we all learned a lot.
September Meeting - Roundtable Machining discussion at Kerry Harrison's shop
We all got to see Kerry's shop, and all shared a lot of good information on machining practices and methods that each of us has used. We also had a great report from the Fliger's about how their Kickstarter campaigned worked out for them. Thanks again everyone for making it a great meeting!
May Meeting - Tool Discussion with Michael Hunter
The meeting with Michael Hunter was a great success. He had a nice series of videos and photos showing how the cutting tools suffered when used improperly, and how to define wear on some of the tooling.
March Meeting - Fixturing discussion - Successful!
We had a great meeting with 8 people in attendance. Many different strategies were discussed and many different types of fixtures and products were available for the members to look over and discuss. Pictures are available on CNCZone
